As a Freshman in 2008 ... Played in 31 matches with 20 starts ... One of four players to reach 100 kills for the season (106) ...  Also strong defensively, registered 46 digs ... Hit a season-high .692 against Grand Canyon (9/13/2008) with nine kills compared to no errors ... Registered a season-best 13 kills against Texas-A&M-International (10/4/2008).

Before ENMU ... Played for head coach Toby Manzanares at Rio Rancho High School ... Made academic all district as a junior and senior and Albuquerque All Metro in 2007 ... Selected the the 1-5 All-District team and second team all state as a senior ... Selected for Rio Rancho’s Pursuing Victory with Honor Volleyball Athlete of the Year award in 2007 ... Played in the North/South All-Star Game ... Was a member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes ... Earned the Associated Press Scholar Award in 2007 and made the honor roll in all four years at RRHS.
