Las Vegas N.M.- Sophomore first baseman Mitch Wolfe (Litchfield Park, Ariz./Agua Fria HS) batted three-for-four, but the Eastern New Mexico University baseball team (0-2) dropped a 21-3 decision to New Mexico Highlands in the second game of Saturday's season-opening doubleheader at Brandt Field. The Cowboys outhit the Hounds by a 20-11 margin in the contest. The Eastern New Mexico University baseball team will return to action on Friday, February 12, when they open Lone Star Conference play against Southeastern Oklahoma State at Greyhound Field. The doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. MST. |
