Abilene, Texas— Alex Taylor (Ascott, Queensland, Australia/St. Margaret’s and Hubbords School) extended Viviana Seca to a third set tie-breaker, but the Eastern New Mexico University tennis team (3-12; LSC 0-8) dropped a 9-0 decision in a Lone Star Conference match to 15^th ranked Cameron University (16-1) Thursday afternoon in Abilene Texas.

Taylor dropped the opening set 6-4, but bounced back to win the second set 6-3 to force the tie-breaker. Seca won the third set by a score of 10-1.

The Eastern New Mexico University tennis team will remain in Abilene, Texas, on Friday, to play sixth ranked Abilene Christian University and McMurry University.  Match time is set for 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. MST respectively.
